You called us "we"

When I was hiding in my shadow

Afraid to stretch to you my hand

For trust in people is expensive

And price to pay I did not have.

You helped the sunrays reach my sadness

When all I was - alone and cold

Like cloud disappearing in darkness.

Together though we challenged all -

We climbed the Everest

And jumped ferocious mountains,

And I was unafraid, you know.

And then your touch,

So magical, so priceless

Unleashed the warrior in me

And I became both Hercules and Titan,

Heck, I became powerful than they can ever be.

I lived, not just surviving,

But like a flower flourishing in me,

I was a bird, so proud and so free.

I lived when you called us "we".
